DESCRIPTION:In the Journey Stage of the  Paralympic Flame of the 2026 Winter Games in Milan-Cortina leading to Venice\, Wednesday\, March 4\, the flame will pass through Belluno. \nThe event is expected to take place in the streets of the city center from around 11:10 AM to 12:10 PM. \nThe torchbearers will start from Via Feltre\, then Via Caffi\, Via Tasso and Via Tissi. From there\, they will continue on Via Gabelli\, then head back towards the center to Piazza Santo Stefano. I think there comes a moment when everyone feels the need to prove something to themselves.” Thus\, Antonella Giacomini opens “In perpetual circular motion\,” the title of the evening and of the chapter in her book “I wanted to see the tundra\,” which tells the story of seven weeks in solitude along the Great Trail\, the longest cycling route in the world. \nAfter crossing desolate and icy lands often at the ends of the world\, Antonella wonders if she is still capable of great adventures\, comparing them to waves to ride. And she does this riding a bicycle loaded with 50 kg of luggage\, following a project born on paper after reading on social media about the inauguration of this incredible network of bike paths\, trails\, and backroads that connect the east and west of Canada.
