DESCRIPTION:Guided tours to discover the municipality of Belluno \nA new series of guided tours to discover the Countries and Fractions of the Municipality of Belluno will be inaugurated in May with the Civic Library of Belluno and the tour guide Marta Azzalini. \nWe start on Saturday\, May 3rd at 10:00 AM (meeting point at the former kindergarten on Via Bolzano) with a guided tour of Bolzano Bellunese\, where you can discover the little-known church of San Tomaso\, which houses ancient frescoes\, the recently restored red stone washhouse\, the historical Dairy Cooperative\, now an interesting museum that tells the tradition of Belluno cheesemakers\, and the ancient church of San Pietro with a particularly fascinating 16th-century fresco cycle. \nThe second appointment is on Saturday\, May 17th at 10:00 AM between Caleipo and Sossai (meeting point at the former elementary school of Modolo).A walk between the two villages will lead us to discover the history of rural schools from the early 20th century\, the church of San Nicolò\, and the center of Caleipo\, which preserves a very interesting building with masks\, the church of Saints Giustina and Zenone\, rich in history\, and the streets of Sossai with beautiful palaces and villas. \nReservation is mandatory by contacting the Civic Library of Belluno or by going to Palazzo Crepadona on Via Ripa 3.Cost of €10 per person\, minors excluded (to be paid on the day of the visit to the guide).Sporty clothing is recommended. DESCRIPTION:Guided tours to discover the municipality of Belluno \nA new series of guided tours to discover the Countries and Fractions of the Municipality of Belluno will be inaugurated in May with the Civic Library of Belluno and the tour guide Marta Azzalini. \nWe start on Saturday\, May 3rd at 10:00 AM (meeting point at the former kindergarten on Via Bolzano) with a guided tour of Bolzano Bellunese\, where you can discover the little-known church of San Tomaso\, which houses ancient frescoes\, the recently restored red stone washhouse\, the historical Dairy Cooperative\, now an interesting museum that tells the tradition of Belluno cheesemakers\, and the ancient church of San Pietro with a particularly fascinating 16th-century fresco cycle. \nThe second appointment is on Saturday\, May 17th at 10:00 AM between Caleipo and Sossai (meeting point at the former elementary school of Modolo).A walk between the two villages will lead us to discover the history of rural schools from the early 20th century\, the church of San Nicolò\, and the center of Caleipo\, which preserves a very interesting building with masks\, the church of Saints Giustina and Zenone\, rich in history\, and the streets of Sossai with beautiful palaces and villas. \nReservation is mandatory by contacting the Civic Library of Belluno or by going to Palazzo Crepadona on Via Ripa 3.Cost of €10 per person\, minors excluded (to be paid on the day of the visit to the guide).Sporty clothing is recommended.
