SUMMARY:Mail Art
DESCRIPTION:The Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna\, the Workers’ Society of Lentiai\, and the AUSER of Lentiai promote the Mail Art project. \nMail Art is an artistic practice that uses the postal service to send and receive “works of art\,” usually of small dimensions\, such as postcards and illustrated envelopes. \nIn an era dominated by digital communications\, the aim is to rediscover the value of postal correspondence as a form of relational art and as a tool for building connections through creativity. \nThe project is open to every artistic language: painting\, poetry\, singing\, sculpture\, writing\, illustration\, and music. \nThe young people have created “mini works” that have been sent and will be sent to artists\, museums\, galleries\, cultural associations\, radio stations\, and record labels\, asking them for a creative response and a brief testimony of their activity. \nThe invitation is not only directed at artists but also to cultural institutions\, museums\, galleries\, and associations that can share their projects and highlight interested artists\, or contribute by spreading the attached letter to the artists they collaborate with. \nAll material received will be collected and kept by the Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna (the Mel fraction – Orange Flag of the Italian Touring Club)\, with the ambitious goal of transforming the town into the “Municipality of Mail Art\,” by organizing public exhibitions of the works received. \n“We want this initiative to grow over time and become an opportunity for dialogue between different artistic languages\, enhancing the human and creative contact that a simple letter can generate\,” explains Marco Bellotto\, president of the SOMS. \n Organizers of the Mail Art project: Marco Bellotto\, Christian Benincà\, Lorenzo Durante (President Auser)\, Annalisa Gasperin\, Duilio Maggis\, Hane Ponik\, Zoe Zanella. Collaborators: Matteo Bellotto\, Walter Bernardi\, Mauro Bianchet\, Patrizia Milani\, Barbara Pasa\, Alex Pergher\, Caterina Pison. \n For all information\, contact the IAT of Borgo Valbelluna

SUMMARY:Francis of Assisi on the eighth centenary of his death
DESCRIPTION:800 years after the death of Francis of Assisi\, the Municipal Administration has chosen to dedicate various events to this extraordinary figure of saint and poet. \nThanks to the synergy with the Parish of the Concatedral of Feltre\, a detailed program of cultural and spiritual events has been defined\, which will begin in March and conclude in October. The various initiatives will offer the opportunity to explore and enhance “the little poor man of Assisi” from multiple perspectives\, highlighting the relevance and richness of his message. \n The unmissable event of the reading marathon will be dedicated to the Saint and will take place in the morning at schools and will continue with an urban trekking through the places in the city where Franciscanism has left tangible traces. \nTo confirm the presence and impact of the Franciscan tradition in the territory\, there will also be conferences promoted by the Parish\, which will precede the initiative\, and the exhibition set up at the “Carlo Rizzarda” Modern Art Gallery. \n Two authoritative figures from the cultural landscape will help outline the profile of Saint Francis of Assisi: Vittorino Andreoli\, author of the book ” The Madman of God: The Story of Francis of Assisi” and Aldo Cazzullo\, the protagonist of a monologue he wrote himself. Literature\, history\, art\, and spirituality intertwine in Feltre as a tribute to the Patron Saint of Italy\, whose feast day has been restored on October 4. \nCultural and spiritual events in the city of Feltre

A place of evocative beauty\, between the Piave and Cordevole rivers\, Noàl has witnessed the succession of peoples and metallurgical innovations\, empires\, and warrior bishops. \nToday\, thanks to a long process of research and rediscovery\, the archaeological park of Noàl fully restores the mystery and energy of millennia of history and legends: it is enough to close your eyes to imagine the first blacksmiths at work\, medieval music\, and songs. \nTo relive the history of Noàl\, within the Park there is an educational path equipped with panels illustrating the history of the place\, the research\, the findings\, and indicating the layers of different periods of the fortified settlement/castle. \nAt the top of the tower\, built to a height similar to the ancient one to protect its remains\, with a panoramic view of 360° over the valley and the peaks of the Belluno Dolomites Park\, is the educational classroom\, equipped with display cases housing perfect replicas of the found artifacts\, explanatory panels\, and panoramic panels to survey and identify the ancient network of castles\, protohistoric settlements\, lookout towers\, the main peaks of the surrounding mountains\, the villages\, the Piave\, and the Cordevole. \nIt is recommended to bring a windbreaker or a sweatshirt (the tower can have a cool breeze). \nIn case of bad weather\, visits will be canceled. \nFor group visits (+10 people)\, it is always necessary to book at this address giannidv42@gmail.com to agree on the timing. \nGuided tours of the archaeological park of Noal with the opening of the tower.

SUMMARY:Discorsi da bar
DESCRIPTION:Review of meetings on mountains\, society\, and current affairs in the most social place ever invented\, the bar. \nIs our country a good place to live (and stay)? \nYou will discuss it in  Bar Talks on Thursday\, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the ancient trattoria Le Volpi in San Gregorio. \nIt will be an informal meeting (over a coffee or a glass of wine) to discover the tools we have available\, in the province and looking elsewhere\, to try to build new forms of work\, economy\, community\, and vitality in areas considered marginal. Starting with Community Cooperatives\, a tool that in Veneto is already allowing many citizens and young people to create jobs\, reopen spaces\, and bring their towns back to life\, leading to projects to create housing\, existing or new. You will discover stories from territories similar to ours that are reversing the tide and bringing people and services back to the small towns of the internal areas. \nIt will be a moment to be together and\, why not\, let yourselves be inspired by others’ stories on how we can think about our towns in the future.

SUMMARY:Trovarsi al sole
DESCRIPTION:Free event\, registration required 12 occasions through the streets of Valbelluna to meet new faces and discover other paths. \nNot just work\, not just home. To choose a place\, more is needed: fundamental are the relationships one manages to build around oneself. \nThis is why the TROVARSI initiative was born within the framework of the PRIMAVERA CASA project – a project aimed at reopening unused homes in Valbelluna\, to make them available to new inhabitants\, young people\, and workers. \nMany outings to discover the territory\, to build relationships while walking. The 12 outings of TROVARSI AL SOLE are distributed both geographically (throughout Valbelluna) and temporally (the first on June 20\, the last on October 18) and are completely free\, but limited in number: therefore\, it is important to register\, from the website primaveracasa.eu or on Eventbrite (the link is https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/trovarsi-al-sole-trovarsi-allombra-4844988). \n The initiative – which in autumn will become TROVARSI ALL’OMBRA and move to the taverns of Valbelluna – is designed as a welcome for those who have recently moved here (but not only!)\, and would like to meet\, along with new places\, new people. And precisely to encourage encounters among those who do not yet know each other\, at the end or during the walks\, or rides\, convivial moments are always planned – to chat even with legs under the table\, in a shelter or in a farm\, at the bar\, in a tavern\, with a relaxing aperitif. \n The convivial moments are also covered by the PRIMAVERA CASA project. A project that\, we remind you\, has been working for several years (since September 2022)\, thanks to the support of the Cariverona Foundation\, alongside owners to reopen unused homes\, to restore them to new life and make them available to those who wish to move to live and work in Valbelluna. The project partners have been\, from the beginning\, Società Nuova\, Isoipse\, ACLI services\, and the Dolomiti Prealpi Tourist Consortium. \n The TROVARSI initiative\, in particular\, is conceived and organized by ISOIPSE\, in collaboration with the rest of the team. While reflecting on the importance of territorial hospitality\, regarding the highly mythologized attractiveness of the area\, it seemed natural to imagine a series – partly in the sun\, on foot\, partly in the shade\, among the bars and taverns of Valbelluna – that promotes the seemingly simple\, but not so easy goal\, especially for those moving here\, of meeting new people\, spending quality time together\, and risking getting to know them. \n THE OUTINGS In particular\, for TROVARSI AL SOLE\, 12 outings have been scheduled\, partly with the guides of ISOIPSE\, partly with the operator members of the Dolomiti Prealpi Tourist Consortium. \n \nJune 20 afternoon – Resilient vineyards\, in Sospirolo \n June 27 afternoon – The Ice Age\, on Monte Avena \n July 4 morning – Among the beeches\, in Col Indes (Alpago) \n July 12 morning – Here we still play\, in Farra di Mel July 25 afternoon – In the moon of herbs\, in Valmorel \n August 29 morning – Among barych and fojaròi\, in Val di Seren – bike outing September 12 morning – The wind has risen\, on Vajont – the cost of the visit to the dam is 7 euros \nSeptember 19 afternoon – Getting lost to find oneself\, in Cansiglio \nSeptember 26 afternoon – Looking at the sea\, in Nevegal \n October 3 morning – Houses and crops\, at the Solivi di Fastro – bike outing \nOctober 10 morning – Border surprises\, in San Donato di Lamon \nOctober 18 morning – Man through the ages\, in Valle di Lamen

SUMMARY:Vivaio Letterario - Camminare erborando. E le erbacce diventano erbette
DESCRIPTION:Available spots: 14Cost: 40 euros\, including food\, drinks\, and the exclusive meeting with the authorWhere: la Serra\, via Frontin 94a\, Borgo Valbelluna (Belluno)How to get there:by train (meditative journey)\, Sedico-Bribano or Belluno stationby car\, highway from Mestre to Belluno \n  \nI love to travel\, like many. Like too many\, it is often said and written by those who criticize overtourism\, sometimes forgetting that they are part of the problem\, if not promoting it. Therefore\, I do not criticize tourism\, but I practice travel. \nBy sail or by oar since I was a child\, as well as on foot or by bike\, on back roads and dusty trails\, even when it rains or snows\, not to mention the fog which is the elixir of nomadic daydreams. I prefer the erotic to the exotic\, because travel is not measured in kilometers traveled but in experiences lived. Relationships with environments and people; carnal relationships and not just visual ones. \nI travel to feel\, with my ears and nose\, with my skin and mouth. I travel to collect\, a herb or a flower\, always with discretion. I pay attention to nature that fascinates me especially when it manifests between the cracks of asphalt or in the crevices of concrete. In the form and color of a mallow or a radicchio. But also in the skies of a peripheral or industrial area. In the form and song of a swift or a bee-eater. I travel to write\, an episode or a story\, always with discretion. I pay attention to life which excites me especially when it intertwines with that of others\, from yesterday\, today and tomorrow. \nFrom the herbs and stories\, I also make mixtures and soups\, which continue the journey at the table and in books\, in company or solitude. Dishes and pages nourish and tell\, as long as there is the necessary time to prepare and read. Fabio Fiori \nSunday at 9.30 a.m. breakfast. Coffee\, tea\, all the good things that are needed to start the day well: biscotti made with organic flours baked in a wood oven\, yogurt and local cheeses\, fruit jams from the garden\, and whatever the awakening and the season inspire (for example\, chiffon).  \nAt 12:30 p.m. a light lunch\, greetings and toasts. In between\, chatter\, questions\, beautiful ideas. As much as you want. \nBreakfast with Fabio Fiori.

SUMMARY:Aperture 2026 e visita guidata al Mulino di Santa Libera
DESCRIPTION:Free guided tour every opening day at 3:00 PM \nDiscover a story of many centuries \nIn the locality of Santa Libera lies the ancient mill\, whose wheels were already operational in 1526 and which\, until its closure in 1980\, changed hands among the local and Venetian noble families. \nThe mill of Santa Libera tells a story spanning many centuries\, connected to the territory of Santa Giustina and the waters of the Veses stream. As early as 1526\, two flour wheels were in operation\, and over the centuries\, various owners took turns\, often local or Venetian noble families. It was closed by its last owners\, the Zanandrea family\, in 1981. The two-story mill building is part of an ancient rural courtyard\, with the milling equipment and installations on the ground floor and the granary on the upper floor. Thanks to the municipal administration of Santa Giustina\, in 2004 the mill was restored and reopened to the public. Guided tours are available upon request\, with opportunities for milling demonstrations\, educational workshops\, excursions\, and guided visits along the ancient waterways of the Santa Giustina territory that lead to the Mill of Santa Libera in Salzan.
