The long ridge of the Alps of Belluno extends from Col Visentin to the Mount Cesen, passing through the municipalities of Belluno, Limana, Trichiana, Mel, Lentiai and Vas. Located on the opposite side of the Valbelluna than the peaks of the Dolomites, they are a place of advantaged observation. The view is the absolute protagonist for who chooses to hike without much difficulty, but rewarding. From the southern side, that is the border with the province of Treviso, it is possible to overlook the entire plain of the region Veneto, even until the Adriatic Sea. During very clear days you are even able to distinguish the lagoon of Venice. On these mountains, which have no great vertical leaps but sweetened profiles interrupted by wide valleys, alternating beautiful woods with large and wide pastures, still partially used by livestock grazing.
