The Park is a territory of great landscapes and nature values: there is the presence of rare species and a great variety of environments. It is located on the south-eastern edge of the Alps, among medium and high mountains, with some impervious areas, some of which have remained free from glaciers during the Ice Ages. The areas of greatest natural interest are located in the highest areas , in the highlands, in the “pits” of glacial origins and there are also stations of considerable importance in the valley and in the most popular accesses.
The great variety of environments and landscapes is the most observable feature, and it is particularly appreciated in the summer season, characterized by beautiful blooms.
