The Mount Avena is located at the entrance of the National Park of Dolomiti Bellunesi, and stands in a panoramic position, overlooking the valleys of Feltre and Belluno.
During the summer, it is an ideal place for pleasant lonelywalks among the wide pastures, interspersed by various alpine huts (Malghe).
The possibility to go up and down the mountain by chair lift, makes it even more easy and versatile.
The Monte Avena is also frequented by the lovers of skidiving, being also a point of reference for people wanting to approach the magic of air sports.
In wintertime, it is a great place to ski, away from the crowded paths of mass tourism, giving the possibility to many ski fans, with its over 21 km of ski runs, to enjoy the slopes and the trip back home without much stress. For those of you that aren’t ski lovers, there’s other interesting staff to do: such as having beautiful walks with snowshoes, enjoying the silence and quiet of the nature.
